The 1921-D Morgan Silver Dollar was struck at the Denver Mint in the final year of Morgan dollar production. The 1921-D is part of the last mintage in the series before the transition to the Peace dollar.
This example features “wild blue” toning on the obverse rim, a natural surface coloration that results from long-term metal-air interaction and can be desirable to some collectors. MS-65 indicates a gem uncirculated coin with strong luster and only light, well-scattered contact marks.
