The 1925-S California Diamond Jubilee Half Dollar was struck at the San Francisco Mint to commemorate the 75th anniversary of California’s admission to the Union. Authorized by Congress and issued for a limited period, the coin features a gold prospector on the obverse and a grizzly bear on the reverse.
MS-66 indicates a gem Mint State coin with strong luster and only minor contact marks. This example exhibits attractive natural toning, consistent with long-term storage and original surfaces.
